Captain Kanai Miho
As the commander of the Shinigami clan, you must stay pretty busy trying to keep up with everyone. What would you say is your favorite part of the job?
It's certainly busy, but I suppose it's good to be kept on my toes. There's never a dull moment and I believe that is a highlight of my role. I love tending to the clan and I have enjoyed seeing them grow and improve. They're a talented bunch, one I am most proud of to have a hand in their growth.
As Captain of the 7th Division, do you have any new and exciting plans for your Squad?
Ah, I am still settling into my role and overseeing its current state, but yes, I have plans to grow our influence and fulfill our duties to the best of our abilities. I want Squad 7 to make a name for themselves, for my officers to thrive and be proud to be a part of the team, but most especially, to have a place where they belong and their talents truly shine. That is my ultimate goal.
Would you share some of your skills with us? Any cool powers we should know about (or look out for in the future?)
I certainly have abilities hidden up my sleeve, but perhaps one day you'll get a chance to see them. I don't like revealing my skill set. Defeats the mystery aspect and all.
What does a day outside the office look like for you?
This is a little embarrassing to admit, but... I really don't have many hobbies outside of work. I like to read? Ah... well... I tend to visit my home a lot. We have beautiful sakura trees, it's a joy to read underneath them and walk around the gardens.
Give me a fun Kanai fact?
Hmm... I like to sing, but only when I’m alone. Oh, I've never cooked a meal on my own before, so maybe that could be a new hobby to try out.
