So to get us started, let us go over the basic layout of the class! Sensei Saito, what exactly are the buildings in this area for?
Sensei: "Well, like every class, the Geography classroom has two main buildings, the lecture hall and the classroom. I mainly use the classroom for Geography but sometimes I may move it over to the lecture hall if I plan on doing lots of talking."
Abslutely fascinating! So, what exactly should we expect from most of your lessons?
Sensei: "Exploration, of course! This is Geography after all. We do ue the classrooms here and there, especially in the first year when all of our exploring is in the Academy, but after that, you'll need to buy hiking boots because it is almost non-stop travel for our lessons!"
That sounds very exciting! I do wonder, what is on the menu for the third years this year? What will we be studying? Or, where will we be going?
Sensei: "This year we will be taking a big tour of Rukongai! Our lessons will be mainly focused on the numerous known historical districts in the Rukongai area. However, we may also visit a few of the newly discovered districts along the way."
Well that sounds like a real good time! Everyone remember that your Geography studies can be found in the Initiation Zone of the Academy and hurry whilst you can as it will be over once Year 4 ends!
That's all for this week's tour! Next week we will be moving on to our next Zone in the Academy, the Study Chamber!
