Hello and good time zones to all of you! Today on our Bleach Spotlight, I have been specially asked by our knowledgeable and extremely tall Kido Training Sensei Katon Miho to deliver to all of you a very special Kido Training class! To give all of those Bleach fans viewing from outside WoR a little taste of the kind of classes you can expect when you join WoR, I will be taking the mantle of Substitute Sensei Saito of Kido Training as I give you a deep and interesting lesson on one of the most powerful and dangerous kidō spells in Bleach: Ittō Kasō.

ITTO KASO AND THE FORBIDDEN SPELLS OF BLEACH

In order for me to deliver the very best class for this article, we will first begin by looking at the class of kidō spell Ittō Kasō is! In the Bleach lore, as a lot of us will already know, there are different classes of Kido spells, Hadō (offensive), Bakudō (defensive), and Kaido (healing). However, despite Ittō Kasō being classed as a Hadō spell, it is also categorised as a forbidden technique. Why? Well, this is because any kidō spell in Bleach is considered forbidden if it does one of two things; manipulates time and space, or sacrifices the self. This spell most certainly does that.

ITTO KASO: WHAT IT DOES

One thing even Bleach fans may easily forget is that the power level of a kidō spell is dictated by the number it is designated. Spells that are labelled number one two or three would be the lowest, easiest, safest, and most basic spells, where as numbers as high as 81, 83, 85 would be extremely advanced, very difficult and overwhelmingly powerful. Ittō Kasō brings itself all the way up to number 96, making it devastating! And here's why. Ittō Kasō, as far as we know, has no incantation, but it is known as the "spell of sacrifice", using the user's own body as a catalyst. When used, the spell causes a shockwave, followed by a pillar of red energy in the shape of a katana tip. This blast can level a whole area around the user, easily destroying buildings and annihilating all of its surroundings but leaving the user most likely at least near-death, or severely mutilated if they're powerful enough to resist.

ITTO KASO USE IN BLEACH AND WOR

The first time this spell has been known to be used in Bleach was by Genryusai Yamamoto during his battle against the modified Arrancar, Wanderweiss Margela. Since Yamamoto was so powerful, he was able to get away with using this spell, only losing his arm in the process but still causing severe damage to everything around him. So far, we haven't seen use of this spell in WoR but for good reason, only true Kido Masters that have completed all of their Kido Training manage to learn this forbidden technique.

Perhaps after plenty of hard work, you readers may become our next class of Kido Masters! Head over to the site and allow Sensei Miho to share his knowledge, be sure to complete all of his classes and you'll receive your Kido Training medals, making you a true Kido master! Until next time, that's all we have from Substitute Sensei Saito!
