BLEACH SPOTLIGHT: The Perfect Anime pfp

It is time again for another spicy little random blog! Yes, today we are going to have a nice little article to help out those of you faceless friends out there on WoR!

As we all know, this site allows you to create your own unique profile and one of the elements of that is: ANIME PFPs! (Profile Pictures for those that can't stand this abbreviation like me). As you can see from the picture on the immediate right over here, you will see my own anime pfp, more commonly called a face claim, displayed so you can stare at my handsome face. This is going to be our big topic of conversation! (The concept, not my face specifically, we can discuss that in chat).
 

THE USE OF AN ANIME PFP

So what does an anime pfp do for you? Well, WoR is an anime RPG site where you can have any picture you want, but to properly capture the feel and vibe of your character in this fandom, having an anime pfp will do much better for you! This face will show up everywhere you do, whether it's on your profile, in article comments, in topic replies and more!

This face allows everyone to know exactly what to imagine when they visualise your character. So, to take the example of me, you can see that I have neck length silver-white hair, as is the signature Saito look, and likely usually wear clothes that adhere to a sort of punk-rock look. So when you see this, you'll know that this is what you can picture if we do a topic together!

CHOOSING YOUR ANIME PFP

Note: Don't ask Captain Miho to model her face when she's busy. But here we still have a great example! One of the most common ways users can find themselves a face claim is by looking up a popular anime and finding a character that matches the vision for theirs. So, Captain Miho seemingly was searching for a red-haired, bold personality type character that was also a known sword wielder to match the Shinigami clan. Thus, Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail was the choice!

Now, here's a top tip. The fc you choose doesn't need to line up perfectly with your clan. It will be overwhelmingly difficult to find a non-bleach character that looks like an Arrancar. My fc as well never has a sword, so that flew out of the window for me as a Shinigami, but the face matched perfectly to what I wanted! Another great way to choose your fc is by personality. Looks reflect personality so easily in anime, so if you want a brash and reckless fc, you can pick a brash and reckless anime character, like Inosuke from Demon Slayer, or Yukihira from Food Wars (the perfect fc for a Catering student).
 

A PLACE TO FIND A FACE

But Takehiko you perfectly sculpted Herculean man I hear you ask, where oh where can we find a great wealth of fcs? Well allow me to save you a lot of effort right now. On the front page of WoR, at the top of the front page box, you will find a link to a website called "Anime Characters Database". This website is the perfect grounds for finding your perfect anime fc. On this site, you can select features like hair length, eye colour, hair colour, gender, age, and even smaller details like outfit style, and their role in their anime whether they be a protagonist, antagonist, main, side character and more!
