Another battle blog coming in and we have another very big battle for all of you to read! In our last session we discussed the powers of As Nodt and Hitori Saito in a fight against each other. An epic battle of fear versus fear and one huge bankai against another! It was quite a fight and we were all left so unsure of who the definite winner could be! Now, for today, we will be analysing another two Shinigami in another themed battle. Today it's the flowing flowers of Kido against the wrath of nature, as we will look at the powers named Hateshinai Mori Nokawa and Ruri'iro Kujaku. Let's battle Lieutenant Seji Midori against Officer Yumichika Ayasegawa!

Yumichika Ayasegawa - Ruri'iro Kujaku

So! To start off, we will have a good look at Ruri'iro Kujaku and it's abilities. Just like all other blogs, this will only focus on the powers each character has to keep things level, so we'll be only focusing on Shikai releases! Now, Yumichika's shikai is a bit o fa special deal but let's get to it. In its usual form, it is known as Fuji Kujaku, and it appears as a four-bladed falx. In this form, it really has no powers apart from cutting like a regular blade.

However, in its true shikai, Ruri'iro Kujaku, it evolves into something far greater! All of the four blades flare and grow into peacock feather-like vines. Very apt for Yumichika. These vines then grow and wrap around the opponent. Sucking out all of their reiatsu, the vines cause flowers to bloom. These flowers, when filled, can turn the opponents reiatsu against them and damage or even kill them. As an extra, when the petals of these flowers are eaten, they grant rejuvenation and heal Yumichika for an amount equal to the reiatsu absorbed within.

Seji Midori - Hateshinai Mori Nokawa

Now! Lieutenant Midori's zanpakutō differs in the sense that it is purely much more actually nature based than kidō based with the appearance of nature. In Shikai, Hateshinai Mori Nokawa can control all plant based material and has two key abilities.

The first is Tsukanoma Ha, its best offensive move. When used, Seji's reiatsu flows into falling leaves scattered everywhere. On her command, these leaves become razer sharp and can be fired at her opponents like small daggers. The second ability is Sokubaku Eda. When Seji cuts a tree branch or plant, which wraps over a target like a nest to create a cage. The more Seji cuts away, the more this cage will be reinforced!

The power of nature is in full effect here so we can only think that nature's wrath really shines through in her Bankai!

Final Battle - Hateshinai Mori Nokawa vs Ruri'iro Kujaku

So here we are now at the final battle and comparison! Who do you believe would win this fight? Well, unlike last time when we didn't have a clear winner, we do today in my opinion! Seji wins, no contest. Against Fuji Kujaku, it would take Seji seconds to annihilate Yumichika. Of course there would be a much better fight against Ruri'iro Kujaku, but Hateshinai Mori Nokawa's ability to utilise leaves as razor daggers would most likely shred away at the magical vines and leave Yumichika vulnerable within minutes.

Safe to say that our Lieutenant would wreck him in seconds and be home in time for lunch! But what do the rest of you think? Clear winner or no? Comment and give your opinions and if you or someone you know wants to get into a fandom battle, comment on the blog to get a possible entry as well!
