Hello my dear readers! Hatsumomo is finally back here, and with a brand new article!

World of Reapers, that amazing written RPG site that has blown our minds! But our beloved site doesn't work on its own... There are many users than give a bit of their free time to turn it into a wonderful place.

So, I wanted to create a column to honour them all. And why? To get to know them better! Not only the character, we can always read their profiles and topics. I mean the user that is behind the character. Isn't it interesting?

In the last article we got to know better the person behind Hayami and Seiji Nitta. This time, I'm bringing you a very well known person in World of Reapers, someone that has been with us since the very beginning of WoR!

Some of you may know who I'm talking about, the person behind Chihiro Samejima. Our beloved Captain of the Arts, the person behind all the illustrations we love in our site. Without further delay, here is the interview:

- First of all, thank you for your time. You have been in World of Reapers since it was born, as Captain of the Arts. How was WoR in the very beginning? Did you expect the site to be like it is now?

Thank you for having me! Yes, I have been here since the birth and early days of this site. I was even the very first Captain of Arts, so I've stayed loyal to my post! Back then it was a lot of fun (and still is of course), and it was just a dream for most of us. It was mostly just a group of people with their assigned roles working in a server, trying to gather engagement and people to join us for the project in whatever way we could. Each of us (if you were assigned a staff role) would try to work on whatever assignment was required for our roles, for example, if you were a sensei you would make some classes, and for me, making a couple of beginning items for each of the many stores on site.

I did expect it somewhat to be the way it is today, considering I have been part of similar sites for a couple of years beforehand. Still, I never expected it to be the levels of amazing the site is today! I've never had more fun and creative freedom working for a site, as well as the wonderful people I've met through it! I wouldn't have it any other way.

- Some of our readers may be new in the site and don't know how everything works. Can you tell us how is the work of a Captain of the Arts? What do you like the most of your job?

Yes, of course! So basically, I am the lead Illustrator for the site. That means all the items you see in the store, those little icons you have before you get a profile picture, as well as the different illustrations for the devices and riddles are all done by me! I work diligently to provide the different items for the stores, as well as create special items to be special prices for events! My favourite part is the making of the items. You have no idea how much I giggle to myself whenever I work on a secret project, only for it to be later launched to the surprise of our users. Seeing their enjoyment of my creations is what motivates me to keep going! Not to mention the creative freedom it gives me. I can make decisions (with the approval of Arata and Sayuri of course) to add new items to be made, but so can our users as well!

- Now, imagine you couldn't be Captain of the Arts with Chihiro! Which one would be your dream position for your character? Why?

That's a tricky question. Through my time on these sites being an illustrator has been my main go-to job, but if I were to choose something else then I think I might give the Conspirator team a go! I do come up with different event ideas from time to time, plus all the fun and engagement of the events are always a lot of fun! I recently held a music competition event, which I learned a lot from hosting, and it also seems everyone who participated had fun. I really enjoyed creating and hosting it!

- Do you want to share something with the beloved users of World of Reapers?

Yes! I do keep a list of all the requested items that will eventually come to the site! So if any users have any item requests, I will take note of them. That means we all get to participate to make the site awesome! So, if you have any requests for either a food or drink item, a pet, or just any item, feel free to send me a courier with it and I'll add it to my list. I can't guarantee it will come out immediately, considering I have work besides the site, (plus some other illustration projects for the site in the works heheh *hush hush*), but they will get out eventually. Perhaps even when you least expect it heheheh
