SIXTH DIVISION

The sixth division of the Gotei 13 is a very traditional division, often led by nobility and deeply involved especially with the Nitta clan. This division have a very important role as it is in charge of managing the Daireishokairo and keep all the historical records since the creations of the Soul Society to this present day. Because of this, it has a subdivision soley dedicated to retreiving, conserving, studying and classifyinf the records.

More traditionally, the 6th division also has an important role in escort missions, and it manages all important visitors and any transfer of people of high importance, in addition to regular Gotei 13 duties.
