The Pipers are often referred to as Conservation Rangers, a term that they look at with great affection. This very interesting division of the Wing Bind oversees one of the main duties of witches: the domestication and conservation of dragons.
In fact, Pipers are charged with not only managing the tamed dragon, but also harvesting their precious resources. While this seems like a tame and uneventful job, it is important to remember that even domesticated dragons can be dangerous creatures and only after a lot of training officers are able to manage these creatures.
Moreover, Pipers are also in charge of apprehending illegally-reared dragons, an activity that often comes with plenty of struggles.
