SAYA IGARASHI

Saya Igarashi was born in Gin No Machi with her twin brother, Naoki, into a very rich family that owned the most proficient business of the area. However, Saya was a very shy child and only got along with her brother, something her parents tried to improve while she grew up. Soon, it was clear that they had a high spiritual energy, so they got accepted into the Shin’O Academy.

Saya excelled in Kido Training and Zanjutsu, being the best fighter in her class. Her parents weren’t happy with it, as they wanted her to focus on Diplomacy too to get accepted in Central 46. With all the pressure, Saya started to develop quite a sadomasochist and violent personality when she got into a battle, a very different side of her. That made her extremely efficient in missions, so she decided to get into the 6th Division when she graduated.

In the 6th Division, Saya soon got promoted until she reached the 5th seat. Even though she was one of their best fighters of the Squad, she lacked discipline in paperwork, which stopped her from reaching higher seats. Being unable to get a close relation with the Nitta Clan, Saya was almost forced to join the Central 46 and be useful to her family.

After some very unhappy years in Central 46, Saya was offered the Lieutenant position in the 13th Division, as well as the teaching positions of Diplomacy and Advanced Diplomacy. After plenty of thinking, she decided to take the reins of her life and accepted, returning to the Gotei 13. After a few years, she managed to obtain a transfer to become the new 6th Division Lieutenant, under Captain Nitta, finally achieving her goal.
