KOBAYASHI CLAN

The Kobayashi Clan is a criminal group that rules over Kami no Kuni, the 80th District of South Rukongai. Although their main source of income comes from shady businesses, they have a legitimate money laundering business across other South Rukongai districts. The gang is involved in assassinations, big thefts and sells weapons in the black market.

Although the circle of power of the Kobayashi Clan resides in Kami no Kuni, their influence extended towards other districts, turning out to be the most powerful criminal gang of South Rukongai. Nothing happens in Kami no Kuni without the knowledge of the Kobayashi, and they ensure the protection of the citizens of the District. Knowing the conditions of the population, they allow small groups of criminals as long as they respect the boundaries imposed by the Kobayashi.

The Kobayashi Clan is led, mainly, by a patriarchal customed family. However, the women of the family had to be informed of every important movement the Clan made since they took care of the economic aspects of the business. In the shadows, the women of the Kobayashi family guided the hand of the patriarch. Men never decided if their wives or women of their direct family considered it a bad investment.

At present, the Kobayashi clan is led by Genkei Kobayashi, who is married to Nozomi Kobayashi.
