The Thirteen Court Guard Squads

Each division has a distinct role and culture shaped by its Captain. Division 1 leads with Commander-General authority. Division 2 handles covert ops and assassination under the Onmitsukido. Division 4 serves as the medical and relief corps. Division 11 is the dedicated combat division known for its love of battle. Division 12 handles research and development.

Captain-Commander Yamamoto founded the Gotei 13 over a thousand years ago. Byakuya Kuchiki embodies noble duty and discipline. Toshiro Hitsugaya is the youngest Captain in history.
