Kido Spells

Kido Spells in Bleach - The Complete Spell List

Kido, meaning "Demon Arts," is the spell-based combat system used by Soul Reapers in Bleach. These spells are divided into two main categories: Hado (destructive spells) for offence and Bakudo (binding spells) for defence and restraint. Each spell is numbered, with higher numbers indicating greater power and difficulty.

Hado spells deliver raw destructive power. Hado #1: Sho is a simple push. Hado #31: Shakkaho fires a ball of red energy. Hado #33: Sokatsui unleashes blue flame. Hado #63: Raikoho calls down thunder. Hado #88: Hiryu Gekizoku Shinten Raiho fires a massive lightning blast. Hado #90: Kurohitsugi creates a black coffin of gravity, famously used by Aizen. Hado #99: Goryutenmetsu summons five dragons.

Bakudo - Binding Spells

Bakudo spells restrain and protect. Bakudo #1: Sai binds a target's arms. Bakudo #4: Hainawa creates an energy rope. Bakudo #61: Rikujokoro pins a target with six rods of light. Bakudo #73: Tozansho creates a pyramid barrier. Bakudo #81: Danku generates an impenetrable wall that blocks all Hado below number 90.
